Deal with the Serious Wear Condition of Crusher Hammer Head

Hammer crusher is widely applied in sand production line and ore dressing process. As is known to us all, due to the special working environment, crusher wear condition is relatively serious. To hammer crusher, the hammer head is the main wear part, so material adopted in hammer head should not only have enough impact-resistance ability in order to prevent fracturing during work, but also have excellent wear resistance capacity to guarantee the long service life of the hammer head.

At present, the majority of hammer heads choose high manganese steel as the common material. Though this material has high toughness, the hardening effect is poor and the service life is short under low impact condition. And if hammer head in small and medium-sized crushers is not chosen properly, it may break due to the low toughness and wear quickly because of inadequate wear resistance, which can eventually lead to premature failure of the workpiece. Therefore, developing a series of hammer heads adaptable to all kinds of conditions is extremely significant.

Usually, the commonly used 1600 mm * 1600 mm hammer crusher adopts 50 kg hammer head to crush limestone. Regular maintenance should be kept in the daily use. If the wear condition is too serious, hammer head should be changed promptly.
