Abrasion of Crushers Is Mainly Divided into Two Aspects

Abrasion of mechanical equipment is inevitable in using process, especially the abrasion of mining crushers. Due to the particularity of production work, abrasion of crushers us very obvious. In the case of fast and serious abrasion of equipment parts, the operation of the whole production process will be seriously influenced, thus greatly reduce production efficiency of production lines. Generally speaking, abrasion of crushing equipment is mainly divided into two aspects.

1. Natural abrasion

Natural abrasion of equipment refers to changes of geometrical shape, size and structure of spare parts, which is caused by friction between each part of equipment in normal use and operation processes. Abrasion of this part is usually slow, and damage caused by abrasion will not generated in short term. But because of abrasion of spare parts, mechanical contact clearance between parts will become bigger. After long time of abrasion, spare parts which should be worked together cannot be combined well along with the increase of clearance caused by abrasion, thus seriously affecting production efficiency of crushing equipment. At the same time, if the seriously wearing parts cannot be replaced in time, it may even cause the damage to other parts and lead to more destructive damage.

2. Premature Wear

Premature wear is caused by unreasonable mechanical structure, inferior quality of used materials of some parts, substandard manufacturing quality of spare parts, incorrect installation and operation of equipment, etc. Crusher machines belong to heavy industrial equipment, which have relatively large loss caused by abrasion in using process. Hence, we need to timely maintain and replace each kind of wearing parts in using process. Only by better finding problems in using process and timely dealing with them can we better ensure higher efficiency and normal and safe operation of crushing equipment.
