Stirring Ball Mill Application and Features

Stirring ball mill is a kind of vertical spiral ball mill, used for the fine grinding of minerals. Its hollow shaft is made from steel casting, rotary wheel is processed by steel casting gear hobbing, the cylinder inside is set with wear-resistant lining board, and the lining board is removable.

Stirring ball mill has a wide scope of applications.

1. Wet-process fine-grinding. The secondary grinding on gold ore, silver ore, molybdenum ore, uranium ore, copper ore, lead-zinc ore, etc; The fine or ultra -fine grinding on calcium carbonate, kaolin, mica, talc, barite, iron oxide, graphite, coal, ferrite, zircon sand, electrolytic manganese, manganese dioxide, coal water slurry, etc;

2.Dry-process fine-grinding: calcium carbonate, mica, caustic-burned magnesia powder, barite, cinder and other non-metallic mines and chemical raw materials.

Stirring ball mill features:

1. High production efficiency. Its efficiency is ten times higher than that of roller ball mill.

2. Low energy consumption. The power consumption of stirring ball mill is only 1/4 of roller ball mill, and 1/13 of jet mill.

3. Ultrafine grinding. Stirring ball mill is capable of grinding all kinds of materials into less than a micron.

4. No vibration, low noise ans good operating environment.

5. Good temperature control. The cylinder exterior face is equipped with water jacket, with external cooling system to regulate temperature, guaranteeing the machine a continuous operation.

6. High automation degree. Stirring ball mill can be fed materials without closing down and the ground materials can be detected at any time. The pumping system realizes automatic material circulation and automatic feeding and discharging. The worm gear system can easily make the mill cylinder overturn when changing stirring arms.
