However, the crushed ore of the concentrator generally contains a large proportion of silica, which is commonly referred to the silicon. So, the dust inevitably contains silicon. After having inhaled in the human lungs, the dust is hard to flush out. For a long time, people will suffer from severe silicosis. Hence, the dust removal must be taken into consideration.

In order to reduce the dust of the crushing system of ore dressing plant, we should start from the dust-proof and take dust removal as the remedial measure of dust prevention. In the process of the dust removal, we primarily solve the problem of dedusting process design and dust removal equipment. Dust-proof: Dust-proof is also called dust fall, namely to control the dust, which is not only the essential measure , but the most economical, most effective and most basic measure in the crushing system of the concentrator. The most commonly used dust-proof measures are watering dust prevention, sealing dust-proof, washing belt, controlling the dust pollution caused by the leakage of material during the process of the belt conveyor transport.

Dust removal: Dust removal cannot completely solve the dust problem in the crushing process. Dust removal is a king of method that uses the mechanical equipment to make the dust point form partial negative pressure and then absorb the generated dust. Lastly, the dust will be cleaned. The dust removal measures are sealing dust point, arranging reasonable pipeline system and adopting advanced and efficient dust removal equipment.

Dust removal equipment: The dust removal equipment can be divided into try and wet types. Dry dust collector are electrostatic precipitator, bag-type dust collector, cartridge filter, etc. The wet dust collector includes whirlwind water film dust, self-impingement scrubber, three-efficient dust removal unit, etc.

In a word, we must take efficient measures to effectively control dust, reduce dust and then remove dust in order to reduce the dust hazards to the environment and human body.
